Investment Quality!

Well made and a very flattering cut. Many field coats have enormous patch pockets that make the wearer look like a solid block: This coat's slash pockets are more flattering as is the princess seaming. No ugly gapping in the pockets here!
Plenty of room for a sweater underneath and thank heavens it isn't too tight in the shoulders! Needed minimal alterations to get a perfect fit.
Good tight weave on the tweed and substantial lining will allow this coat to block a cold wind without weighing a ton.
I was in two minds as to whether to purchase the Taupe or the Hazelwood. I'm glad I went with the Taupe. A departure from the usual greens and heathers (love 'em, but sometimes I need something different) and you can pair it with black, grays, blues, taupes and any brown that isn't in the red range.
Goes to the field with brush pants, rocks into town with dark jeans and a navy fedora.
Thanks Brendan, AP knocked this one out of the park.
